PEG Precipitation

from John Lis' NAR paper

need 30% Polyethylene glycol (Carbowax 6000); 5M NaCl

for precipitation of 200-400bp

add 5M NaCl to final [NaCl] = 0.5M 
add PEG to final [PEG] = 10% (1/2 volume of DNA+NaCl)
store at 0C 24 hours

Centrifuge at 8,000g for 10 minutes at 4C

Remove PEG by Qiagen PCR purification kit
