ChIP-based technologies for interrogating the genome

2007

Genetics 425a/625a

Genomics I

In this lecture, I cover how the human genome and other genomes were sequenced. I also cover comparative genomics as a tool to identify functional sequences. In the last section of the lecture, I introduce various genomics technologies utilized to interrogate various aspects of the genomic sequences.

Genomics II

In this lecture, I describe several examples of genome-wide technologies used to investigate regulatory mechanisms and to determine functions of genes in yeast and other organisms.
